SO, what with the new year and all, the reading challenges are piling up. This one is probably going to be the biggest one for me- my TBR is actually mainly books published in or pre-2016, so the TBR formation will likely not be too difficult. However, I also have a raging habit of collecting all of the new books at the library to take home and renew as many times as possible just so I can read them.
Right.
So about the challenge. The idea is to clear out all the older* books on one’s TBR in order to make room for new releases. This does NOT mean that I won’t be reading the new ones, (because dude there is no way I’m passing up the new Schwab books and Maas and that one by Renee Aldieh that looks flipping INCREDIBLE), just that I’m going to try to hit the books that have languished there for a long time first. Austine and Tia from NovelKnight created the challenge (which you can find here), so all the thanks go to them!
*can a book be considered old if it was published at the end of 2016? Idk.

This sounds like such a fun challenge! Stand-out books that I definitely recommend you read are Outrun the Moon, An Ember in the Ashes, The Girl from Everywhere, and A Shadow Bright and Burning.
